What works
A working marketplace: search and filters, attorney profiles with bar admissions, a multi-step consultation booking flow, a place to track your matters and consultation summaries, and an onboarding wizard for attorneys.
What doesn't, yet
Sample attorneys only — nothing is bookable and nobody's bar record has been verified. One design decision is already locked and won't change: the platform charges a flat booking fee for the technology, never a share of a legal fee, because splitting fees with non-lawyers is barred in most states. State-by-state advertising rules still need a practitioner's read before this opens anywhere.
