I use AI every day and it has genuinely made me better at my work. But I can't shake the feeling that I'm training my own replacement for free, and handing the upside to people I'll never meet. Is there a version of this where the people doing the work own a real piece of what they're building?

I don’t think the government should take an ownership stake in any private company even for AI. It is a tax that congress should have to legislate on. I don’t like the idea of universal basic income either. What are some other solutions that stay true to our version of capitalism?
